The Kortrijk-Mouscron-Lille region has almost become a single, interconnected whole in territorial terms. Cross-border partnerships are becoming more important by the day in this large Euroregion, and are also recognised by the political authorities as independent entities. The need to provide cross-border legal services to our clients in a structured manner is the logical consequence of this. We do this both in providing advice and conducting proceedings.
For more than 20 years, and now in the form of an EEIG (European Economic Interest Grouping), the office has been paired with the law firm ESPACE JURIDIQUE in Mouscron (www.ejavocats.be) and the law firm ESPACE JURIDIQUE in Lille and Paris (www.ejavocats.com).
This extensive partnership on a daily basis between like-minded, independent law firms breaks down language and national barriers and allows the firm to offer its clients fast, high-quality and personal service in this much larger, economically significant region.
At present, the EEIG groups together more than 30 lawyers and 20 members of staff. The office in Lille, in turn, is connected to other law firms in various Western and Central European countries (www.libralex.com).
