The law firm LIETAER-DEBUSSCHERE-BAUWENS was founded in 1991 by the late Willy Lietaer with fellow lawyers Ivan Lietaer, Eddy Debusschere and Robrecht Bauwens. Lawyers Sofie Debusschere and Ann Vanherpe joined the firm in 1996 and 2010 respectively. After embarking on a close partnership with the offices of ESPACE JURIDIQUE AVOCATS in Mouscron and Lille, with whom we set up an EEIG (European Economic Interest Grouping), the name of the firm was changed to ESPACE JURIDIQUE ADVOCATEN.\n

The legal services provided by ESPACE JURIDIQUE ADVOCATEN to businesses, government bodies and private individuals include advice, mediation, conducting negotiations and administrative and court proceedings.<\/p>\n

In every case we deal with, we aim constantly for a fast, solution-oriented approach through personal communication with the client for a proportionate fee. These fees consist on the one hand of the costs we advance to third parties, the office costs and on the other of our own fee. Information on how the fees are calculated can be obtained at any time from the lawyer dealing with your case. Since 1 January 2014, 21% VAT is charged on fees and office costs.<\/p>\n

When opening a case, we thoroughly analyse it and formulate realistic goals. We avoid pointless procedures.
